Professor Song is an associate professor and deputy head at the Industrial Design Division of the National University of Singapore. He brings over two decades of design experience with global design agency Ziba, HP’s printing division and cross-disciplinary consultancy Design Exchange; where he serves as Design Director.
In his professional practice, he has worked with notable brands across diverse industries including HP, Intel, Lenovo, P&G, Philips, Siemens and Welch Allyn.
His work has received over twenty International design awards - including the prestigious Red Dot Luminary Award. Recent work includes Product, UX & UI Design for finance, healthcare, industrial & air travel sector.
He graduated in 1990 with a BFA Industrial Design degree from the University of Kansas and is a recipient of the prestigious IDSA Student Merit Award from the Industrial Designers Society of America.
