On 4 September, “The Vision of Tomorrow——Exhibition of Winners Red Dot Award: Design Concept” made its first stopover during its global exhibition tour at the Red Dot Design Museum Xiamen. With the theme of " The Vision of Tomorrow", the exhibition is the Winners of Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2019-2020’s first large-scale showcase in China.

Total of 265 latest design concepts come from 48 countries and regions, and world-leading brands including Siemens, GE, Panasonic, Samsung, Lenovo, Midea, etc. Exhibits in “The Vision of Tomorrow” are divided into 5 theme sections: "Time Machine", "Enhance: Body and Mind", "Future Life", "Tomorrowland", and "Design Value". With design concepts’ prototypes, images and multimedia interaction, the exhibition reveals the world's state-of-the-art product design concepts and the latest global market trends.

State-of-the-art Design Concepts Presents Unlimited Possibilities of Future World

Imagine what the future urban planning looks like? How does the future cities evolve? Designer as a mediator between the worlds, create new lifestyles and provoke people’s imagination and desires. “Time Machine” shows the development of human-computer interaction; “Enhance: Body and Mind” prospects that technological wearable devices is to become a part of the human body; “Future Life” showcases the IoT(Internet of Things) trend which intelligent and smart devices enhance our quality of life; "Tomorrowland" brings us the vision of a future digital city life; “Design Value” presents the design solutions to real-life problems.

2019 Red Dot: Luminary award-winning work is the Lilium Jet from the German Lilium GmbH. The all-electric jet is capable of transporting 5 passengers, and can cover 300 km in just an hour on a single charge.
